You've heard the common saying "it takes a village to raise a child." The same can be said for good writing. It takes a community of talent to foster a polished writing piece. From drafting to publishing , the piece should pass through many sets of eyes. It's enough to overwhelm the most seasoned of writers. Critique partners, beta readers, editing ( developmental, content, line), etc.
The task of finding your community members can be daunting. I admit that I struggle with parts of this process and whom to turn to. My community has grown however, and I wonder how I ever thought I could tackle this on my own.
Every writer needs their own community of support and to support others in their writing journey. It takes a community to accomplish great things.
