Magic Between Worlds
Contributor

In celebration of National Poetry Writing Month, I share with you this poem:

Magic Between Worlds

The magic of life and the magic in nature

Dance together around sparkling snowflakes at sunset.

Golden rays paint the sky and clouds,

Warming hearts as it splashes through our windows.

After nightfall, the moon caresses snow-laced yards

          below twinkling stars.

Her light plays with the shadows of tree branches

          on my child's bedroom floor.

As the wintry world glistens with a pearly silver lustre

The gentle slumbering of the world beckons us to dreamland.

Let's be friends
