Flowers speak to us of Love.

They are earth's exuberance for

The company of all creatures.

Earth created diversity,

And saw that it was good.

She gave all species this same gift

As a message of acceptance and love,

To share among us, between us,

And to multiply it exponentially.

Inspiration

The inspiration for this poem came from a UU flower communion service at our church last Sunday.  The diversity in the flower world is a source of cheerfulness.  It is part of the new life abundant in Spring, and continues on through Summer and Fall.
