I am currently single. Let’s just get that out of the way.
I’ve been busy writing this weird fantasy story about a rabbit that left the care of his humans so that he can attend U2’s concerts. It’s light and honestly very fun to write about. I get to imagine things in the perspective of that tiny rocker rabbit.
Imagination can be a very powerful tool.
How does that tale (ahhh see what I did there?) fit into the title of this particular blog entry you ask? Well writers, by nature and by craft, use their imagination to fuel whatever they are writing about. You may even call it our bread and butter. Imagination can get me through a lot hurdles writing wise. However, when there are things that I have personally experienced, I tend to write faster. I mean why can’t I? There is a well of good writing materials waiting to used inside our experience storage facility (the brain).
Again, how does this all add up to title?
Well I just showed an example on why sometimes writing about sex can prove difficult for some. The inexperience tend to shy away from it. Those who have yet to experience it tend to write very poorly about it so they tend to shy away from it too.
Why is it hard to write about something that most of us have already experienced? Is it because we are afraid to tell the stories that are usually confined inside four walls? Men writes about sex so carelessly, too proud. I don’t know how they do it. I am basing all of what I said to the books I have read. I am not an expert in this. I have experienced it, but I do not write about it... yet.
How do you write about sex? Comment down below, let’s talk about it.
