Brainstorming

Her imagination was spinning a dizzying array of ideas.  How?  How to get out of this conundrum?  She pictured herself as the heroine of her own video game.
"I can do this.  I can Lara Croft my way out of here,"  she said to herself.
That made her giggle.  What should her next move be?
She stared at the ceiling.  Step one, she moved her right pinkie.  Okay, if she could move that much then she could muster the strength to do more.  Now, her left foot.  Success.  She smiled.  One more move would be all it would take.  She could motivate herself to get out of bed and out of her depressive funk.
Now, FINISH her.  She took a deep breath and UP!  She was outta there!  She was out of bed and on to better things.  She did a little rah-rah and a shimmy.  She did what seemed almost impossible.
There would be other days and other times when the weight of depression would have her pinned.  She was certain of it.  However, as long as she could do this-get up-she knew she would win.  So, bring it on.
