Normally I will typewrite, photograph, and post that way. Buuuuut I'm on vacation, several hundred miles away from all my typewriters, and I felt the urge to start.
After years of being stifled by depression and anxiety, I finally feel the energy and willpower to do more with my life, including my writing. It's incredibly liberating. It's also daunting. Eventually I would like to make a living just from my creative work, but for now I'm still tied to an 8-5 job and all its pitfalls, without even the benefit of decent insurance and paid time off (I'm a contractor). And forget about a retirement plan.
So I am working on building a side hustle, something to help pay the bills at some point and maybe take over paying them in the long run (fingers crossed). Main problem? I'm not a hustle-y person - I'm an introvert and I know squat and diddly about building a brand, marketing myself, and cultivating a following. So I'm hoping to learn as I go, and not make too many obvious mistakes.
Wish me luck!
