Brainstorming

I take in a deep breath and let it out with a sigh.  The sky is a crystal clear blue.  The air is clean and warmer than a mug of chai tea on a winter morning.  The sun is golden and shining.  The leaves are making their gentle descent to a ground waiting with for them with glee.  The cars are speedily racing to their destinations.

Yes, it's that time of year again.  Fall is here.  In all honesty there's a part of me that mourns the end of summer.  Summer is my favorite season after all.  However, I endeavor to embrace the gentle changing of the seasons.  I look forward to the reds, browns, yellows, and oranges of the crisp leaves on the fading trees.

I want to dance in the whirls of falling snow.  I want to taste the snow landing gently on my tongue.  I will look forward to the first bud of the warm spring season, and the sweaty trials of summer.  For now, my heart thumps in anticipation for the cooler time of year.  Joy comes in the changing of the seasons.
