WALK YOUR TALK

Did the flippant minute Mockingbird smile,

When it stumbled across that phone wire mile?

--just dancing across the treetops turnstile

Energetic Chimp’s gymnastic profile—

The wind caressed (ruffled) feathers, erstwhile

The black Crow flew through the skies “single file”.

Basking in the heat, meditative guile,

This cat could substitute as a sundial.

Climb a tree, run a race (!) when strolling life’s aisle;

Make sure you do it in your own inimitable style.
