Through The Looking Glass – at an angle
Contributor

The Day is best, sun and light;

But yin-yang, balance, makes it right.

In the dark, close your eyes and dream.

Rest helps us to perceive life’s “seams”.

Looking into my black cat’s eyes,

I’m strolling through narrow halls, oh my.

Shifting flour, “solar” through the grass -

The glittering hurts my eyes, alas.

Leaves unfurl like a knife unsheathed.

Sunlight persuades, good health reveals.

Math miracle, light refractive,

Makes a Jay, blue adaptive.

Eyes open, what will I see –

Day, night, life, death… or just me?
