To interpret – numerous hares leaping, percussion-tuned gamelan …

When a hare (cowboy!) nibbles on cactus, does it wear “chaps”; practice Ramadan…

Or do the prickles make the poor chap, jackrabbit, chapfallen?

…long delicate ears quivering the jackrabbit, the hare, awoken

And sat up, eyes wide, ready, so to speak, “THROW THE JAVELIN.”
