The Act, Book One in the Circus of Women series opens as Norah Merrit, a dedicated obstetrician known for her bedside manner and service to Doctors Without Borders, walks into girls’ night out with a secret to tell. While she would rather testify before any jury in the world than disappoint the women she considers sister-friends, Norah is out of time. Her confession rocks the tightly knit group to its core and leaves each of the women questioning their own roads not taken and the vastly different choices they’ve made in life and love. Told in alternating points of view between the five friends, The Act is a story about modern women becoming a sisterhood of the tightrope as they juggle careers, relationships, family, and ambition.

Hi, Chantal! That is exciting! I am in talks with a publisher and will use BookBaby to self-publish in May if I do not sign. In preparation to publish, I contacted diverse book clubs across the country and asked them to read the first 100 pages. The response has been phenomenal and lead to a successful following on my author page. I am excited to get the rest of it in their hands! Thanks for reaching out!
