For those of you She Writers who don't know this: today on Twitter is Friday Reads (fridayreads.com), founded by @thebookmaven (Bethanne Patrick). Please share what you're reading, using hashtag #Fridayreads when you post.

This has become so big -- worldwide -- that they now are giving prizes and always aiming for more reads. It's also a great way to find out what others are reading and to get ideas of the next book to buy/borrow/ .. write? :)

THANK YOU to all you wonderful She Writers who have chosen to follow me on Twitter. 

I especially appreciate those of you in the role of caregiver for a parent. I am full-time part-time caregiver, alternating weeks with my sister, for our parent with Alzheimer's. Our lives are divided in half (a week there, a week at home, back and forth until ...), and I find it hard to fit "writer" into my life. I would love to participate in NaNoWriMo again, as last year, but not sure I should attempt it. ( http://lynnadavidson.wordpress.com/nanowrimo-updates-2010/ ) Anyone doing it? Any tips for me?

I love the twitter discussion. I am mymothersbrain on twitter (I blog about Alzheimer's, hence the name). I am trying to diligently follow everyone who has posted their twitter handle. If I miss one, and you follow me, I'm following right back. I miss so many writing discussions due to work, but I am enjoying dropping in on the twitter feed and catching up from time to time. The cool thing is that so many of you also follow other writers I've never heard of, so I can then discover new folks to follow!

Mary Reynolds:  love the focus of your twitter account. I think tweeting works better when you are not shotgunning comments all over the map. I also like Tina Haapala's handle:  @ExcuseEditor  That attract me!
