(Paid Anthology, Seeking Submissions until 1/27/12)

Ishtar Press (an imprint of Pagan Writers Press) is actively seeking short erotic tales of 5,000 to 15,000 words that feature underlying Pagan themes for the Taboo anthology, which will be published just in time for Valentine’s Day 2012. These tales should not only be “outside the box,” but obliterate it completely. Sacred sexuality, tantric ecstasies, love in the forest, in robes, in ropes, entranced, enchanted, elated–it should be all of those things wrapped in silk, in leather, in mud, in sweat, tears and blood.

Keep in mind, however, that some lines should not be crossed. Submissions featuring pedophilia, bestiality, necrophilia, rape as titillation, etc. will be rejected.

Royalties from the sale of the anthology will be split between the contributors and paid out on a quarterly basis. Each contributor will also receive one (1) author’s copy free of charge and have the ability to purchase additional copies at a discounted rate (outlined in the contract).
