Mark your calendars and RSVP now for our December dinner meetup, a special holiday event with award-winning author and fellow She Writer Tayari Jones. Because she will be in San Diego promoting her critically-acclaimed new novel, Silver Sparrow, the event will be open to the public as well.

In honor of our She Writes group and because we'd like to see a large contingent of She Writers come out to support her, your dinner will be offered at the usual cost of $25 per person (plus a $5 donation for Tayari's dinner). To keep this special arrangement private for She Writers, and because Andiamo Ristorante needs a headcount as quickly as possible to ensure enough space is reserved for this event during their busy December schedule, we are asking that you pay for this event early to reserve your spot.

You may do so by bringing cash or check (payable to Adventures by the Book) to our meetup on Wednesday, November 2, or by mailing a check (no cash please) to Adventures by the Book, P.O. Box 421472, San Diego, CA 92142 by November 4th.

For more information about Tayari and her event, you can visit the Adventures by the Book website. You will notice that the public will be able to purchase a discounted copy of the book with their dinner ticket. Unfortunately, because She Writers will be attending the event at cost, you will not be able to take advantage of that special offer. If you wish to purchase a signed hardcover copy of Tayari's book, you may add an additional $18 to your dinner payment.
