I hope your holiday is off to a festive start. I'm looking to read 5 more books to meet my 2015 reading challenge. My favorite reading genre is memoirs, however I enjoy humorous stories of any genre as well. You might imagine how that goes… the funnier, the better!
The thing is… I have 4 weeks to find these books. Please let me know by email [email protected] if you have written, or know of a book you think I might enjoy. …And oh yes, I write and publish books too. Trust me, reading your in-print PUBLISHED book will not create a conflict of interest. Books I love I talk up; others I applaud. In meantime, I just blogged “Asking for HELP!!!!!” http://bit.ly/1NYgfU8
My daughter came home last November and said that she was doing this challenge the Creative Writing teacher had mentioned- NaNoWriMo. For those of you unaware, it stands for National Novel Writing Month and the challenge is to write 50,000 words in the month of November. I was successful in finishing last year. This was the inspiration for my plan this year. Less fiction, more facts and parenting thoughts.
Amazingly, the book I started writing when I joined SheWrites is now available as an ARC! Counting Thyme pubs next April with Penguin, but you can enter to win an advanced reader copy here:
Please come help me get the word out on my new release! Check out an excerpt here: http://wp.me/p2gPeZ-Go. It's a Sweet Romance Anthology. Thanks! Reviewers are always wanted, if you are interested let me know.
