Hello. I've recently been introduced to this forum by a memoir coach, Marion Roach Smith. I've taken several of her classes and now am in the final stages of revision. My odyssey has been long, but I'm heartened by the realization my memoir and I both had to be ready. My memoir details thirty years of experience with bipolar disorder. It is not a tale of woe. I prefer to view it as transcendent. I write in Scrivener but like to edit with pen in hand on paper. Hearing success stories, especially after adversity, are uplifting to me. I'm eager to join in the discussions.
