I am the founder of WritingStrides, and a nationally published and award winning writer whose work has appeared in The Wall Street Journal, The Masters Review, Wilderness News, Aife Literary Magazine and Dirt Rag Magazine among other publications. I was associate editor at the Crested Butte News until 2017, and my writing has won awards from the Colorado Press Association and FundsforWriters. I hold an MFA in Creative and Professional Writing from Western Connecticut State University.
