I was told the only path to success didn't look anything like what I envisioned for myself--a series of fun, inspiring events that would lead me across the world and into the hearts of kindred spirits wherever I found them. So I moved to France for a year. Then I came back.

And as my ultimate stamp of defiance, I'm writing the story of my soul and I fully intend to put it forward in the world. As Gandalf the Grey once said:

“All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us.”

I want to be someone Samwise the Brave could be proud of. I want to fight for the good in this world, the good in our generation, and prove that the possibilities people are always harping about really are endless... and I'm going to do it by telling the best story I possibly can.
