I'm an Australian/American living near Los Angeles. I am a mother, a teacher, a reader, and I write. I believe that if children love reading there must be a modicum of hope for the future of humanity and I am delighted when kids are inspired and engaged by narrative.
I am also a feminist and I believe that consumer capitalism underpins the patriarchal culture in which we live. I see a change coming though. Women everywhere are standing up, banding together, and working towards a massive shift in the balance of power. Exciting times are ahead...
