My novel, AMERICAN FAMILY is the story of two gay men trying to get custody of their biological daughter from her fundamentalist Christian maternal grandparents. It is for people who have gay friends (everyone) and faith (a lot of people) and don' want to have to do without either. It is about the importance of family and genuinely operating in the best interests of the child.
