I'm a retired government employee, widow, writer, and grandmother. I love to write. I've been writing since I was 11 but have never been brave enough to venture into publishing.

I am the Municipal Liasion of my region for National Novel Writing month. This is my 5th year doing this. I do NaNoWriMo for fun every year since 2006. This will probably be my last year because I really want to get one of those seven drafts completed and published. And wrangling 100 participants and keeping them writing is a lot of work, even is it only once a year.

My local writing group just published our first anthology: River City Writers Presents Crossroads. So excited about this!

In the mid-90's I had an article published in Hoosier Parent. As a college student in the 90's I wrote for my university's magazine Transitions and for the school paper, The Shield. I have a couple of personal blogs I write because I have to do something with all these words!

I do some editing here and there for friends who write. I've never done it professionally. I did a lot of it in college. I really love the process.
