I'm an author and editorial consultant and I write book reviews on my blog. Have an MA in scriptwriting, have written 3 books and won two book awards for one of them. Have taught for many years for the Open College of the Arts writing degree-level courses, Writers News scriptwriting courses and others. I live in Manchester UK, also teach and play the piano; learning the ukulele and sing in a choir. Began my writing career in TV journalism, became a PR consultant, a journalist and freelance feature writer before writing the books. I copy edit and appraise books by other writers' work at my consultancy. I also ran my own publishing company for 12 years.
