Who AM I? This is not my favorite question. Still figuring that out. Which is either silly OR just right for a 47 year old woman with three kids and who's been married for almost 23 years. I write an Op/Ed column for my hometown newspaper and I don;t even know if I'm supposed to be starting new paragraphs here in this "who I am" section.
I'm a New Englander, born and bred, and doing fun active stuff outside is pretty important to me. I've raced in several triathlons -- the running is my favorite despite hating it with the white-hot intensity of a thousand suns as a young athlete -- and I make SOME money as a fitness trainer.
My column beat is my family life. So while having kids aged 20, 15, and 11 gives me plenty of material -- it's all becoming too personal for public consumption! I've recently thought about other venues for my writing -- curious about ways to make a living at it. Which led me here. (And in another zillion directions.)
SO here I am with only a Facebook page as any kind of social media experience. SO much information out there, I am overwhelmed! AND late for soccer pick-up. And come to think of it, I haven't seen the dog in a while and I'm not sure I have anything good to serve with the pork chops I bought. Ugh.. the kids HATE pork chops.
Hopefully I'll be able to come in and edit this pile of hooey at some later point in time. ;)
