Ethel Lee-Miller is a native New Yorker, now contented resident of Tucson, Arizona, who captures images, relationships, and a sense of time and place with carefully chosen and inspired words. Having ‘a love affair with words’ has been her passion for decades. Her business, Enhanced Life Management, is the core of her work as a writer, educator, editor, storyteller coach and observer of life. She shares personal essays, life strategies, and practical ideas with her readers in what can be termed "edu-entertainment."
Twenty-eight years as an elementary educator in West Caldwell New Jersey also included parental counseling, leadership workshops, conflict resolution training, and process writing.
Her educational and counseling training is visible as a writer and public speaker,. She pens and presents personal essays, how-to articles, writing seminars which provide a structure and practical tips that can then free the writer to tap into her creative voice.
She uses her twenty years of Toastmasters International experiences along with counseling and teaching skills in lively presentations and contemporary storytelling. Professional public speaking includes topics like “Public Speaking Without Panic,” “Get Up and Talk About Your Writing,” “Don’t Shoot the Messenger: Character Development that Adds Life to Your Writing,” “TELL IT!: Presentation Skills for Writers,” and “ASK ASK ASK: Getting What You Want and Need in Professional and Personal Relationships.”
Improvisation classes make up her latest adventure with words. “Every event, no matter how mundane or crazy, offers delicious seeds for my gardens of stories.”
