Who am I
I am the author of THE MEMORY BOX, a New York Times and USA Today bestseller. It's a psychological thriller about a woman who Googles herself and discovers the shocking details of a past she doesn't remember. I also blog for the Huffington Post on writing, humor and satire, parenting, food, and fashion. You can also find me on my blog "writing from the intersection of oops, yikes & awe" at evanatiello.com. Parts may contain baloney. On a personal note, I eat every day (I love food!) and I firmly believe that the last two cookies in the box have far fewer calories than the first two. I am an obstinate and oft times regretful do-it-yourselfer, I’m okay with my ears and my sternum, and I make up songs all the time as a way to dialogue with my kids. They find it infrequently entertaining.
The sign of a good day is when the creative process in some form–be it writing, painting, cooking or gardening–has pried its way into the mundane.
