I am a master storyteller, professional speaker, comedian, author, and retired school teacher. I've received considerable recognition for my work and accomplishments including the Christa McAuliffe Award, Ms. Senior Georgia of 2004, Past President of the "Southern Order of Storytellers", the Tommy Nobis Award, and the Governor of Georgia Commendation. I was featured in "Southern Living" magazine as well as the first "Portrait of Spirit" volume exhibited at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta. In 1987, I lost my sight, but my blindness has not prevented me from accomplishing what I've set my mind to. My memoir, "My Night Life is 24/7," and children's book, "Bettina the Bold," are both available from Seescape Press.
