Who am I
I'm the writer of twelve books--mysteries, suspense, historical fiction, women's fiction, and non-fiction. Am also a journalist for an on-line magazine and DeseretConnect--a group of writers that writes for several newspapers. Am also an empty-nester, but have 3 grown children and two beautiful grandsons.Have been joyfully married to David Vandagriff 39 years!
My site, blog, or Twitter handle are
Books I've written, anthologies I've contributed to and any scripts or plays I've authored
Voices in Your Blood, Cankered Roots, Of Deadly Descent, Tangled Roots, The Arthurian Omen, Deliverance from Depression, Poisoned Pedigree, The Last Waltz, The Hidden Branch, Pieces of Paris, Foggy with a Chance of Murder, The Only Way to Paradise
My professional associations
Pamela Redmond Satran from this site gave me a professional critique of The Only Way to Paradise. It was a fabulous experience. She promised to take my writing to the next level and she truly did. I felt like I had an 1 1/2 class on just my book. Much more helpful than any Writer's Conf. I've attended. Thank you Pam, and thank She Writes for connecting us!
Services I offer to other writers
If I am enthusiastic about a project, I will write a review or do an interview of the author.Until I am out from under my next two books, scanning, editing, and reformating all my other books for our own publishing company, and trying to rocket "The Only Way to Paradise" to stardom on the Internet, I won't be able to do content edits, which I enjoy. I don't do line-edits because I'm too ditzy.
I'm part of these writers' groups or salons
I have a group of "alpha readers," who kindly read my stuff and give feedback.
