From Paris, France to the Highlands of Scotland, through the wilderness bush of Northern Canada, I'm a former technical author and teacher, now writing stories of healing from the heart.
My most recent book was a mother-daughter project about the need for compassion in healthcare. Based on my mother's experiences as one of Canada's early pioneers in palliative care, the book portrays the importance of patient wisdom in alleviating suffering.
Our book, "Stay, Breathe with Me: The Gift of Compassionate Medicine", praised as "remarkable" with "little pearls of sound clinical wisdom on just about every page", was selected by the IAHPC (International Association of Hospice and Palliative Care) as a book of the month.
In addition to non-fiction, my muse is helping me pen stories of courage, healing, and love.
