I have been writing since 5th grade, when my teacher wowed some poems I had written. Now, I have my MFA (Scholarship at Eastern Washington University) and have published close to 80 poems. But I have still not published a book of my poems which I want very much to do before I die. I have two grown sons and six grandchildren. Who but a mother can understand the enormous, incongruous, and ravenous love for a child? My poems nearly always touch and venerate. ONe of my favorite quotes is from Einstein: "There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle." I choose and try to abide by the second.
