My name is Leah and I live in San Diego, California. I’m in my mid-30s and feel that I gain more wisdom as I grow. I am a freelance writer, and enjoy blogging about family, motherhood, my crazy pets, traditions, photography, good books, cooking, just to name a few.

I also write periodically for several national blogs and Web sites and local community magazines and publications. I’m currently working on a few different book proposals, hoping to be a writer who actually publishes a book one day.

When I'm not writing, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and myself (“me time”); reading books, magazines and blogs; writing; cooking; eating good food; photography and photo editing; drinking coffee; browsing bookstores and antique shops; walking my dogs; scrapbooking; exercising; finding new and innovative ways to decorate my house; and celebrating holidays in fun and creative ways.
