It is amazing to me that I am able to be so creative, except when I have to write about myself. Went through undergraduate wanting to be a writer, but allowed myself to be talked out of writing as a career for a more "lucrative" profession. So, I went to law school. Did the married with children tract. Absolutely love being a mom - was less thrilled with the husband, so I traded up. Blah, blah, blah...made some necessary changes in my life, and her I am. I have returned to writing with a fury. I would not trade any of the decisions I have made, as they have given me a wealth of experience to draw on. I write legal thrillers (shocking, I know), and hope I can bring something different to my works - but then, I guess that is what all writers hope...
