Word weaver. Paint slinger. Grace clinger. Sunset gazer. Pixel tamer. Dream wrangler. I am a creative to the core. I write to capture the lessons I am learning on this unpaved road into God’s heart– and to keep learning.
Simply put this is my story as it is being written. One day at a time. It is, at its heart, a love story with the One Who crashed into my world when I was seven with His beautiful, outrageous Love. I have never recovered.
After almost 6 years in South Sudan establishing Iris Ministries initial presence there, I am now based in my hometown of Jacksonville, FL where I continue to support the field teams in South Sudan from the US as well as serving as the Yei Base director. As often as I can, I enjoy visiting and spending my time with my adopted-in-heart children and the amazing people who have captured my heart. I also travel widely with Iris Global speaking, ministering and helping to equip and encourage field leaders and teams where ever I am.
There is nothing I love more than to see the people around me succeed… wildly.
I love it so much I launched my own consulting firm to help the amazing leaders, creatives, artists and innovators I meet do just that.
As an executive creativity coach and small business development consultant, my intuitive approach blends the practical know-how of a skilled consultant with the creativity of an artist and the perception and acuity of a personal coach. It is my joy to help my clients redefine possible and move from discovering their dreams to living their dreams.
Here in Northeast Florida I am involved with establishing an Iris Global missions base {Iris First Coast}, in the context of a growing number of us exploring what Create 61 , an outwardly-centered creative community with an Isaiah 61 mandate for His Presence and the poor might look like. Supernatural Lifestyle. Creative Expression. Authentic Community. Engaging the Margins.
I dream of a company of people who take walking lessons from Enoch being released to soar into the wildest dreams of God, embracing the audacity and the humility of heaven, walking in two realms at once and living out of overflow as loved sons and daughters of their heavenly Father.
Love Has A Face is my first book. And my second, An Invitation to the Supernatural Life was released July 1, 2012. Both are available wherever books are sold. I also own my own art studio (Talking Walls Art) and am working on my third book.
