I grew up in Gros-Islet – a town that is in the northern part of Saint Lucia.
My fascination and love of stories and writing began in my early childhood. “My mother bought lots of books for me to read as a child. I always got lost in the world of the characters and the story.”
My recollection of my first story was about an old man who was wrongly accused of a crime that occurred in his neighbourhood. I wrote that story during my early teenage years.
While I completed my International and Intercultural Studies Associate Degree at Douglas College, I wrote several articles for my school’s newspaper. I also wrote several blogs that were featured on Douglas College’s website.
When I transferred to Simon Fraser University to pursue my Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, I wrote for Simon Fraser University’s student newspaper. I also wrote a blog that was featured on Simon Fraser University’s Recreation Department’s website.
I recently wrote several short stories that she is planning to publish in 2017. I'm also working on my debut novel.
