I am a fiction writer, the creator and editor of the prestigious online journal, Jewish Fiction .net, an online literary journal that publishes first-rate Jewish fiction from around the world. I am also a blogger for “The Jewish Thinker” at Haaretz, the Writer-in-Residence and an Associate Scholar at the Centre for Women's Studies in Education (CWSE) at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE)/University of Toronto, the organizer of the Wonderful Women Writers Series, and a community activist.
My book, Fields of Exile, which was published in May 2014, is the first novel about anti-Israelism on campus. It has received enthusiastic praise from Phyllis Chesler, Nava Semel, Alice Shalvi, Irwin Cotler, Steve Stern, Thane Rosenbaum, Naim Kattan, and Ann Birstein, as well as getting excellent reviews. I am also the author of the acclaimed Marrow and Other Stories, which won a Canadian Jewish Book Award.
