I live, work and write in North Carolina and hold an MFA in Creative Writing from Queens University of Charlotte. I am a member of the NC Writers’ Network, Women’s Fiction Writers Association, and Sisters in Crime. My work has been anthologized in JUXTAPOSITION (Maine Review, 2015), HOME (Outrider Press, 2016), and FLYING SOUTH (Winston-Salem Writers, 2016). I have been a Top 25 (2014) and Honorable Mention Glimmer Train recipient (2016), and my stories have been awarded honors by The Writers' Workshop of Asheville's (literary fiction contest) and Women on Writing (flash fiction contest). My online journal publications include works at Fiction on the Web, Crack the Spine, and Mamalode.

I have published technical, peer reviewed papers. Future goals are to move into creative non-fiction and fiction and to polish and publish works I have been working on over the years.
