A displaced southerner who currently lives in Chicago but can't wait to take my rightful place back in the south in a few years. Began writing early in life. I got a creative writing and communications degree from Winthrop college in 1981. I married an older man and ending up moving to Pittsburgh and then Chicago. I lost my heart for writing as the north depressed me. I did not find the inspiration of the south and my years of growing up there in the north. We now are within 3 years of moving back to Charleston and the inspiration is flowing. I want to begi my writing career again but need direction and support.
