I'm currently a Senior Editor at Defunct Magazine (defunctmag.com) and Co-Editor--along with Mark Polanzak--of Draft: A Journal of Process, premiering summer 2010.

Before moving to Iowa, I earned a BA from Georgetown University, MFA in fiction at the University of Arizona, and served as the Managing Editor of the award-winning literary journal Alligator Juniper, published by Prescott College and founded by Melanie Bishop. I'm now an Iowa Arts Fellow in the Nonfiction Writing Program at the University of Iowa.

Along with Mark Polanzak, I edit draft: the journal of process, an educational literary journal, featuring stories, their early drafts, and interviews with authors focusing on process rather than product.
