Twenty years ago, I left Texas and fell in love with the whole wide world. I've been trying to figure out a way to either capture it or consume it ever since. The best, closest way I've found to do that is to write it all down, travel often and share the landscapes that have moved and shaped me with others. I spent thirteen years in Italy (where I garnered a lot of fodder), a year in New Zealand (where I tried to write it all down) and for the last five years I've lived in England (where I've been trying to catch up with myself). I'm the Co-founder of Wide Open Writing and the Founder of Duende Retreats. I'm a nonfiction writer, teacher and retreat facilitator. I also offer online support to writers (via my website reginatingle.com) who are in need of accountability and gentle, kind feedback.
