About Renee AubuchonClose
ReneeAubuchon
Who am I
I am a real human. I work as a therapist for a psychiatry department at a local hospital. My thinking about what people share with me is often about narratives, and narrative therapy. I am also attending a writing workshop in San Francisco that I like very much.
Books I've written, anthologies I've contributed to and any scripts or plays I've authored
I have published in two poetry journals, twice in the San Francisco Chronicle, once in Sierra Heritage Magazine and a time or two in Peninsula Parent, I was a newspaper columnist for the Gilroy Dispatch for five years. I am currently working on a book, some short stories and find poems appearing on my computer now and then.
My professional associations
What a curious question, supposing that there are professional and non-professional associations, and being interested only in the professional ones. Teachers emerge from strange places- kitchens and bus stations and all sort of places where they are not known as professional associations.
Services I offer to other writers
I only send smoke signals, so that they are reminded that there are others awake at two am, struggling, and not giving up.
I'm part of these writers' groups or salons
Yes. A wonderful writing workshop.
Media outlets that I currently write for
This does not apply to me at this moment.
I found out about She Writes from
I was doing a Google search of an author and it led me here.
