I moved to London from Zambia in 1992. I currently work as an office manager for a firm of Chartered Accountants but for about 10 years, have worked in a few law firms. I have a BSc Social Science, with a Psychology major and volunteer with a Youth Offending Team. I live with my two sons from my first marriage and I describe them as the force behind me. Depending on what is happening, this can be a good or a bad thing. I am now remarried to my childhood sweetheart after 20 years apart. My husband and step children still live abroad. My indulgence, apart from being able to drop and pick up my boys from school, is getting lost in a good book, the icing on the cake is writing, which I find cathartic. I enjoy writing about social issues, issues that make me search for another side to the story rather than the universally pre-conceived and accepted one.
