I am a Christian, wife, mother...and the list goes on. Each role I step into is equally important to me, so having and or maintaining balance is a daily goal for me. I call it "Balancing my Blessings," because I realize that the talents, resources, people, skills, and things the Lord has bless me with was not meant to overwhelm, frustrate, or stress me out; they were intended to bless me so that I could glorify and honor God.
From my desire to "Balance my Blessings," in April 2008 I published my first book called "Balancing Blessings and Obtaining Order," and have done a couple revisions to that title in subsequent years. I fused two passions that I have: My desire to please God and my need for order into a book I hope is a tremendous blessing to any woman of God.
Prior to publishing my book I launched BalancingBlessings.com and BalancingBlessings.Blogspot.com to not only promote my book, but to provide women with ideas, tools, and the resources to examine and bring into balance every aspect of their lives--in the light of God's Word and will.
Beyond my desire to write, I consider myself very much a computer geek. By trade I've been a software developer for almost twenty years, and just recently I've launched a new blog call The iSavvy Woman (www.i-savvywoman.com) to provide busy women with an understanding of technical tools, tips, products, resources, etc. they can use to function more effectively in today's high speed, high-tech society.
