As a writer, Susan Bailey shares her unique insights from her faith walk and life interests through her two blogs, Be As One and Louisa May Alcott is My Passion. After the passing of her mother, Susan began reading to fill the void and it soon blossomed into writing. On Be As One Susan shares her life journey and spirituality in prose, photography and music. Through her many interests she engages in conversation with readers. Louisa May Alcott is My Passion is the only blog devoted to Alcott, her life and her works. Begun in August of 2010, it is regularly read by scholars, educators and fans alike. It covers the author's most popular works along with in-depth discussions on Alcott's roles as a juvenile and adult author, abolitionist, Civil War nurse and women's right advocate. Susan has received permission from the Houghton Library at Harvard University to publish excerpts from previously unpublished letters and journals from the Alcott family. Susan is currently finishing up her first book to be published by Ave Maria Press sometime in late 2015/early 2016.
