Who am I
I'm a writer. Oh, okay, that's obvious because, well, I'm here on She Writes. But still, I find I have to practice saying that.
So, I'm a writer. I write. My memoir "The Dog Lived (and So Will I)" was sold to Shana Drehs at Sourcebooks by my wonderful agent Sarah Jane Freymann. Publication is set for Fall 2012.
I've also co-written a humorous non-fiction gift-y book that found an agent but not a publisher. And naturally, I have a novel (or, er, several drafts of a novel) in the bottom of my drawer.
By day (and sometimes by night) I'm a lawyer. I live in Southern California with a dog (a beagle), a boyfriend (also a writer) and a lot of humor.

My professional associations
Do bar associations count? Or, just bars?
Services I offer to other writers
Well, my boyfriend runs Words & Wine, which provides writers retreats combined with wine tasting trips in France and (in 2011) Spain and I tag alone. Time to write, the camaraderie of other writers and wine? That's a service, right?
