I have always liked London. I don’t really know why. Maybe it is because of the energy, the various parks and the narrow, cobbled streets. But I can’t help thinking that it is because London has all the ingredients of an organised chaos.
Deborah Batterman said… I confess -- I found a touch of irony in your post re: Gerard Depardieu right on the heels of your invitation to a 'mistakes' blog hop. Have not yet gotten around to joining the hop, but am reading with curiosity. And wanted to thank you, too, for your thoughts re: 'The Rich Get Richer . . . '

Deborah Batterman said… Muriel, I have been reading your blog & enjoyed the entries about the 11+ (though they also worried me!). Our daughter Charlotte is 10 and we are currently getting her ready to take the 11+ in September and even have a tutor she meets with once a week via Skype. It's nervewracking! And no fun preparing for an exam in a country you don't even live in yet. (sigh)
At least I have a She Writes meet-up in London to look forward to when we've moved!
