"I retired from a career as an executive assistant in corporate banking and discovered my love of writing.  I live in Florida where I am inspired by crisp blue skies, abundant wildlife and warm (sometimes steamy) tropical breezes.  The first year of retirement I went to the beach every other day with a good book or set out on a long walk around the community.  After a while I decided it was time to do something constructive.

My first attempt at writing resulted from the oddity of things I witnessed living in Florida like grass that grows sideways, fire ants and all of the drama of a hurricane approaching the Gulf Coast.  I always said the only way I would ever leave Ohio would be for Palm Trees and Ocean Breezes................when the bank offered to relocate me to Sarasota.  My fate was set.
