Just finished this and my thoughts are: Excellent! Wish I'd known there was going to be a little author's note about each story. They were all grouped together at the end of the book but I'd have liked to read them directly after finishing each story. Also: what did I study in college? Literature? Why weren't we reading THIS? Sci-fi is not lit? I think it is. Also, it's the most open field for new authors, which most lit. majors wanted to be. Authors, that is, not necessarily sci-fi authors. So we should have been learning something at least in this genre. Also: if you like this book, you should go listen to Escape Pod: escapepod.org/
