Hi! I am a new member here. I have been writing essays sporadically for many years, never troubling to find a way to get published. In 2009 I started a blog for my art, intending it to be an art journal. I knew I would never keep up with it if I tried writing in an actual 'old school' notebook, so I started it in a blog. Being able to share my frustrations and successes and hear from others about their own creative journeys was surprisingly satisfying. I now realize that putting my writing out there in a blog was my way taking a baby step toward admitting to the world that I enjoy writing. I knew I'd made a good choice.
Now I have started another blog in which I focus on writing. The title of the blog is A Modern Dilemma...because you only want a few words, because in today's world we are constricted to shorter and shorter communications. The purpose of this blog will be to contribute something short, but with meaning and impact on a daily basis (I may not be quite as disciplined as that, but goals are good, right?).
I'd be grateful for any of you who are so inclined to take a look at either blog (or both) and leave me some feedback. Thanks!
