I took an abrupt break from shewrites last week even as I was just getting started here! We had a most unusual event occur here with a reckless driver. Our home is at the arc of a curve, a young man driving didn't make our curve instead left the road onto our property, totaled both our cars, among other things and his car became airborne and landed on its roof. No one was hurt, he left the scene of the wreckage. I didn't write about the details of this but only my own internal process of finding my balance again. I titled it Songbirds Amidst the Wreckage.
