I'm currently writing a few works that fit in the horror/suspense/mystery genres! The first is an eerie suspense novella with a generous dash of magical realism and absurdity. It's highly metaphorical and includes quite a bit of symbolism, so it's been a lot of fun to write! The second is a horror novel based loosely on Eastern European folklore and urban legend. I've never tried my hand at writing a full-on horror book, so this has definitely been an interesting experience! The third is a luxurious murder mystery novel. I've actually written several versions of this one - I can't seem to decide which one I like best! Many of them have significant variations in certain characters, settings, POVs, and more. Finally, a lot of my short stories tend to be a bit on the darker side, with a big dose of horror and suspense. What are you writing?
