AlessandraBautze
Who am I
I hold a B.A. in The Writing Seminars and Film & Media Studies from The Johns Hopkins University, where I pursued my passion for creative writing with the hopes of eventually becoming a screenwriter for independent film. I currently attend The University of Texas at Austin, where I am pursuing my M.F.A. in Screenwriting.
Enamored by academia, I'm an enthusiastic student who loves learning new things and embraces new experiences. Two of my favorite pastimes include attending independent films (after four years of attending The Charles Theatre in Baltimore, my current go-to arthouse theater is the Alamo Drafthouse in Austin) and attending multicultural events around campus. Besides independent and foreign film and literary fiction, I'm deeply interested in the French language, as well as French culture and cinema. I also have an interest in American Sign Language and Deaf culture. I'm an avid fan of Doc Martens, and value individuality.
